Letters to the Editor

The Albany Law Review is pleased to introduce a Letters to the Editor feature to our publication. With this feature, scholars from around the world can comment on and discuss every article that we publish with short response articles or op-ed pieces. In addition, commentators can submit Letters on our upcoming articles in our Upcoming Issue section. Article authors themselves are of course encouraged to respond to comments as their articles are developed and edited.

Our Letters to the Editor feature helps us to achieve our mission of providing timely and meaningful contributions to legal scholarship by allowing our authors and readers to engage in up-to-the-minute discussion of our articles and leading hot topics of the day. In order to disseminate these discussions most effectively, our Letters are featured on our website, keyed to the subject article. We are also happy that LEXIS and Westlaw will soon make our Letters to the Editor available on the databases just like full-length articles.

So we invite you to read our issues and enter the debate!
